Some serious work got done today. By the end of the evening Donna was sans engine, front rolling gear and rear end. Along the way the radiator, fuel, coolant and electrical connections for the engine, parking brake, hydraulic brake lines, and misc other bits and pieces were removed.
The boys started working with Cody before I got back to the shop. By the time I arrived the engine was out:
Next we removed the front spindles and lower arms along with the strut rods. We left the shocks and springs for now.
We then moved to the more difficult rear end removal. After disconnecting the parking brake cables and the hydraulic brake lines we used a transmission jack to support the rear end while we removed the leaf spring hanger bolts and shackles.
We then carefully lowered and moved the rear out from under Donna.
Next we will install the dolly so Donna can move to the garage where the rest of the dismantle will occur.
